About the Position
Our client is growing and now needs to strengthen their team with a skilled support technician! As a 1st line support technician at our client in Malmö, you will work closely with 2nd line and other functions within the organization. The customer is always in focus, and you will always provide them with the best possible service. Start date is according to agreement. Please note that the position is based in Malmö, with some possibility to work from home occasionally.
Your Main Responsibilities
As a 1st line support technician, you will handle inquiries from customers via both phone and email. Generally, you will experience a varying pace as your day-to-day work is driven by customer-specific events, and everything you do must maintain high quality and service levels. It is essential that you are reliable, proactive, and value good customer relationships. Since this is a first-line support role with a large number of customers with different agreements and SLA levels, it is important that you are skilled at troubleshooting eagerly when required. It is also important to follow established escalation procedures when they exist. The administrative part is significant, and documentation of cases is a natural part of daily work. A genuine interest in IT facilitates your work every day. The job will be intense and challenging, but you will be surrounded by wonderful colleagues who are quick to laugh!
Working hours are primarily daytime between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday to Friday. You will also work evening shifts one week (including the weekend) approximately every other month, which rotates within the team and is based on how many of you there are.
Who Are You?
We prefer that you have a post-secondary education in IT, preferably from a vocational college. You can also apply for the position if you have acquired equivalent IT knowledge on your own or if your drive to learn new things and your work ethic are high, as these are two very important factors for us. Perhaps you studied IT in high school and then worked with similar tasks, which is also highly valued. A requirement is that you speak and write both English and Swedish fluently. It is advantageous if you have worked with and/or have knowledge of Active Directory, Windows operating systems, Linux, Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), Ticketing Systems, troubleshooting, mobile devices, printer management, and Office365.

As our client works with security-classified customers, a comprehensive security screening will be conducted upon employment.
